  • Where every student begins, regardless of background. This level is about getting grounded in the body. Here you get a solid foundation of martial skills, posture and the ability to respond vs react. The Gut center is the action center. We all have a dominant way we act or don’t act in life. This level will heighten your consciousness on those default ways you move through the world.

  • Once grounded (Level 1) we shift the focus to the Heart Center. At this level, technique becomes about connection through feeling— reading your partner, moving with them, responding to what's actually happening rather than what you expected. You learn that feeling and integrating aspects of your Heart make you better as a person and martial artist.

  • Strategy, timing, and distance. At Level 3 you develop situational awareness — the ability to think clearly inside chaos, find openings others miss, and understand why a technique works before you rely on it. The student who arrives here has integrated the Gut and Heart, they know how to respond instinctively without disconnecting. Now they get strategy and bring in the awareness of the Head Center.

  • The first three levels build the centers separately. Level 4 asks you to move between them. Wind is the change element — this is the level where the system becomes fluid and personal. You will begin to discover which center you lead from, which you avoid, and what it costs you. In movement you will see where you get stuck (Gut, Heart, or Head). Adaptation becomes a strength. One moment your connected and grappling (Heart), the next you’re creating an angle and detach (Head) to bring the situation to an end (Gut).

  • When the student reaches Level 5 they have identified their Tritype (Gut/Heart/Head). They have also learned how they use it and where they get stuck. Now the student focus shifts to moving from a pure place. Moving from the present, your full abilities, your full type — from everything you have actually internalized across the first four levels. This level is about moving from essence, not one center and no longer trying to be shifting to what’s needed. You just are, and that’s enough. There is a sense of power and self assuredness that exists in this level for the student.

  • You begin to see yourself from the outside — your patterns, your defaults, the way you move through the world. Expanded awareness means holding more without collapsing: more complexity, more contradiction, more of yourself. The outer environment is no longer the challenge. You are.

  • You know what you are capable of. Now the question shifts — are you using it? This level trains the practitioner to be genuinely useful to others, not because they were told to be, but because full development naturally turns outward. Healing is not a soft concept here. It is precise.

  • Power without ego. Students at this level have access to all three centers — gut, heart, head — and have done enough inner work to use that access honestly. They are dangerous in the best sense. They are also measured. They've learned that real force comes from a quiet place.

  • The return. The student who began at Level 1 learning to stand comes full circle — but everything is different now. The system becomes whole. The pieces are no longer separate. This is not a destination so much as a recognition: the work was never outside you.
